Dr. Anh Nguyen was born and raised in Tampa and is excited to serve in the community that he grew up in. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology. After undergrad, he received a master’s degree in Biology – Medical Science at Mississippi College. He then obtained his podiatric degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Nguyen returned home to complete his residency training at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital where he served as chief resident. During residency he trained extensively in the management of foot and ankle pain, lower extremity surgery, trauma, and diabetic foot care.
Dr. Nguyen has treated thousands of patients with various conditions but has also been a patient himself, including undergoing multiple surgeries. Being a patient can be a stressful experience and he understands the need to fully inform his patients. He always takes his time to thoroughly answer all of their questions and address any concerns. His philosophy when developing a treatment plan is to include patients and consider all options prior to surgery.
In his spare time Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, sports, and the outdoors. He is very active and plays football, basketball, golf and tennis. He has a large extended family in the Tampa area that he values spending time with. He is very excited to be a part of Healthy Feet Podiatry family and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of doctors.
